VIP100XS introduces high performance digital image processing capability to medical X-ray systems.
Basically, VIP100XS is a digital memory designed to on-line store, process and display images provided by the X-ray system.

Its menu guided user interface offers a great number of useful image processing features like real-time noisereduction, maximal opacification, subtraction, brightness / contrast manipulation, image sharpening, zoom a.o. to improve your X-ray images. For presentation and storage, you may add text to designated locations as well as to the position of your choice anywhere inside the image. Adding a VIP100XS into your X-ray system, you may actually record and replay film sequences at independently selectable speeds (e.g. slow motion, ECG triggering).Advanced VIP100XS versions are capable to store up to 768 images in their DRAM memory before saving them onto the harddisk. Single images may also be displayed, illustrated and manipulated one-by-one. Up to 10 different user setups may be defined and activated for each team/operator. VIP100XS is designed to work in normal TV Systems, CCIR or RS170, as well as in high-resolution TV-chains with 1249 lines / 50 Hz. It supports 1 or 2 videomonitors and meets the highest quality standards. For documentation, images may be saved on a harddisk to later be printed out on any Multiformat camera. To reach for the ultimate performance level in documentation quality, a digital interface to the Laser Imager family of 3M and Kodak is available. It is also possible to add a LAN ethernetconnection into the VIP100XS to output images in TIFF-format. In this way, you can easily adapt your X-ray images to popular desk-top publishing software like Winword, Ventura, Pagemaker etc. for publications or patient documentation purposes. Have a look on the image gallery to see some sample x-ray images.
